About North Bangalore Cultural Samithi (NBCS)
Functioning as a social community for 47 years, North Bangalore Cultural Samithi (NBCS) aims at inclusion in all its diversity. The activities of the Samithi and the festivals celebrated by the members of the Samithi are to spread the message of peace, harmony, inclusiveness, and cultural unity in our society. Durga Puja (also Known as Dussehra) is a key festival that we celebrate with YOU, across 5 Days. People from all walks, caste, communities, and religion unanimously participate in the festivities and the associated cultural extravaganza.
This year, the auspicious and cultural festivities of Shri Shri Durga Puja (8th October to 13th October 2024) will be celebrated by us in its full grandeur. This will be followed by Shri Shri Lakshmi Puja on 16th October 2024 and Shri Shiri Shyama Puja (Diwali) on 31st October 2024. To commemorate the celebrations, we also publish a souvenir that features articles, stories, photography, and artwork from the contributors.
